Italy's RAI Cinema International Distribution has secured a series of sales for "The Sound of Something New," the latest film from renowned director Paolo Genovese, currently being showcased at the Cannes Marché du Film. This marks a significant achievement for the director, who is known for his critically acclaimed work, including the 2016 film "Perfect Strangers."
The film, produced by Lotus Production, a Leone Film Group company, in collaboration with RAI Cinema, is in post-production and has already garnered interest from various international distributors. It has been sold to Spain (Karma Films), Poland (Aurora Film), Hungary (Vertigo Media), Greece and Cyprus (Dream Team Film), and several Balkan countries (Kino Mediteran).

Genovese's previous work, "Perfect Strangers," holds the Guinness World Record for the most remade movie in cinema history, with remakes in 24 territories, including France, Germany, Spain, Greece, and South Korea. These remakes have collectively grossed over $400 million.
